He frowned his forehead. What the fuck was happening? "Make your sister disappear? What's up with you, Miko, seriously? I never kissed your sister. She was the one who kissed me, and she looked exactly like you." he said.

Miko shook her head. "Riko and I have fought for an extremely long time. She stole all my friends and my crushes and I don't want you taken away from me. " Miko confessed. " I'll go tal to her myself." Miko's hair turned back to its normal state and she smiled innocently. "I'm sorry for making you put up with me. Can you pease forgive me?"

He was confused now. Wasn't she mad and rejective just before? "Ehh.. Sure," he mumbled. "I forgive you."

Miko waited a long time for her answer and she started to doubt.

Miko explained, " I was extremely jealous because ....Riko kissed you."

He blushed as Miko hugged him. He softened totally up. "It's okay," he said and put his arms around her.



"I never wanted to kiss Riko."

Miko's face fell blank. All this time, she thought that Akio and RIko, both, had feelings for each other. She was wrong. She gave Akio an apologetic look, "I'm sorry for misunderstanding."

He smiled at her. "It's alright. It was an honest mistake." he said. "I apologize too for letting your sister take advantage of the situation like that."

"NO NO NO! It's not your fault. I should've know that Riko would have done something like this." Miko sighed.

"Did she try doing something alike before?" he asked and leaned against the doorframe. "I wouldn't have taken her for that kind of person."

Miko explained, "Riko took all my friends from my previous school and turned them against me. She's hated me and I never understood why," Miko had a sad look on her face.

He looked at her. "I had no idea," he said and patted her on the back. "I wonder why she would do that." He frowned.

Miko sighed, "Yeah... I wonder , too.“ She suddenly remembered something. "Hold on." She held up her finger and went over to her bag.

He entered the room and watched Miko as she went over to get something from her bag. "What is it?" he asked, curious.

Miko excitedly retrieved the item and handed it to Akio. It was in a small purple box with a cute pattern. "It's a bracelet that has a cross and the word 'Love' on it. I bought it at Tokyo's jewelry shop. I have a matching one too." Miko showed him her wrist and the bracelet was clinging on to her.

<- His inner Akio went like this. "A bracelet?" he asked and stared at the shiny thing in the box. The thoughts came rushing through his head: He was a guy, no? Guys don't wear jewelry. But Miko looked so happy as she presented her gift for him. A gift.. From Miko

"That's.. So nice of you!" he said, sending her the best smile he could manage.

After seeing Akio smile like that, Miko blushed.

He carefully took out the bracelet from the box. Bit his lip when he realized that he'd probably end up breaking it and waste the effort Miko'd put into giving him a present. "How do you put it on.." he said helplessly.
