After listening in on the recent conversations, she finally decides to go and talk to the young Joey. "So, you're a fighter." She says, examining Joey's bruised body.

"The Hell do you want, woman?" Joey replied sharply with a huge frown across his face.

"Oh nothing, nothing at all. I brought you come crackers and honey though, but if you don't want them... I guess I should just eat them." She says, raising a cracker to her mouth.

"Never had them. Don't care."

"Cool." Rena says, popping the cracker into her mouth.

"If you don't have any business with me, then leave," Joey said coldly.

"Alright." Rena says cheerfully, and strolls happily out the door.

"The Hell was that about?" Joey said to himself, looking at Reira who was still sleeping on his shoulder.

-Next day-

Rena casually strolls back toward Joey's bed. "Hi, I'm Rena." She began, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

"What do you want?" Joey said, frowning.

"I wanted to introduce myself." Was Rena's rejoinder.

"To what end? Why are you here?" Joey replied.

Rena leaned in, until her nose was almost touching Joey's. "Am I not allowed to want to get to know the mysterious boy from the lake?" She asked innocently.

"I don't know how I ended up there. All I know is that I'm in some bullshit otaku magic school and the one with horns thinks I'm Harry Potter."

Kid Joey:

Rena conjures up an imp, merely feet from Joey's bed. "But what if you are a wizard, what then?" She asks softly, trying to hold back a smile but it eventually erupts on her face, as if it were cracking through veneer.

"Hell if I know. What's it to you?"

"Well everything, if you're going to be staying here." She said.

"How am I supposed what to do with magic if I don't even know how to cast it? Some girl just told me I was a wizard and that was it."

"As you were told before, this is an academy of magic, kinda like Hogwarts I suppose, and like schools, at an academy, you learn things. Said things being magic." She continued.

Enters the room. Upon seeing Rena, she stands quiet for a bit, watching the two.

"That sounds really gay, but go on. What does every woman here seem to know me?"

Ignoring Joey's derogatory use of them term 'gay', Rena continues. "Well, you'll learn to conjure up undead monsters and creatures, make potions that have various effects on your state, cast destructive dark magic, fly, and many other forms of magic which can be used as attack mechanisms." She says. Deciding to humor Joey, "Well, you're somewhat of a celebrity in this academy. The boy who nearly drowned in the lake, they call you." She says, trying to keep a straight face.

"Hmph... so how do I go about casting basic magic?"
